How about editing those home videos?

Everyone has lots of videos at home but not too many that we're really proud to show. Wouldn't it be great to be able to take those tapes and make them into a professional-looking tape you'll enjoy sharing with friends and family?

It's Really Simple!

We've come up with a very simple and effective way to help people turn their home videos into powerful, effective, enjoyable and professional-looking videos, at very reasonable cost.

How?

We'll take your tapes and create a new tape called a Time-Code copy. It's a copy of your tape with a digital time code running on the screen.

The time code on this picture, 00:01:23:06, means that this is one minute, 23 seconds, and six frames into the video. (There are 30 'frames' in each second of video, just like in the individual frames in a film.) This could be the start of the video segment you want to use.

Then What?

We'll send you this 'time-code' tape with instructions and a form. You then pick out the sections of the tape that you want to have in the finished tape and write down the times of the start and end points of each section or scene on the form. The time code in this second picture reads 00:03:14:21. This means that this point is three minutes, 14 seconds and 21 frames into the tape. Indicate the title graphics you want on the form at the place in the video where you want them, again using the numbers of the time code. Then you just fax or mail the form back to us and we'll do the rest.

What Are 'Title Graphics'?

Title graphics are printed information you want to appear on the screen. They could be "Our Vacation In Florida", or "Suzanne and Jeff's Wedding", or "Grandma's Birthday", or whatever sentiments or information you want to add to be sure that people who see this video years from now will understand what is happening and who was involved.

What Happens Next?

We'll use a copy of the 'time-code' video and your list to put together the tape of your dreams. In short order, we'll edit your original tape into a brand new master version with your graphics and music if you like. We can even add your slides, family photos or 8mm movie film to give you the freedom to create your own masterpiece.

Does It Work For Weddings?

It sure does! Let's say that you and some friends have taped your sister's wedding. Now everybody has a piece of the wedding but none of it looks all that great and you don't have all of the wedding on one tape. How'd you like to get those separate tapes edited into one really fine, professional-looking wedding video tape?

You can just send us those tapes, along with still pictures taken before, during or after the wedding, and the invitation. We'll put it all together and make a beautiful wedding video you can be proud of. And it won't cost an arm and a leg.

What'll It Be Like?

We'll lead off with a collage of 25 or 30 frozen still frames taken from the entire wedding and reception. Then we'll add segments taken from each of your tapes, using the clearest and steadiest shots, from the wedding and the reception. We'll add beautiful title graphics, music where appropriate, and in short order return to you a tape filled with family memories you'll treasure for years to come.
